About the role We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Training Lead (Superintendent) to join our team. In this role, you will oversee our comprehensive training programs and ensure they align with our business objectives. Your work will be crucial in enhancing workforce capabilities and supporting the development and delivery of training programs on-site. You will be responsible for the entire 360-degree training process, including planning, delivery, assessment, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure all training initiatives meet organizational needs and drive continuous improvement. Demonstrating leadership and strategic thinking in supporting training programs is essential for this role. Fostering a culture of continuous learning, maintaining effective relationships with site teams, and focusing on safety, health, environment and security (SHES) will be key. Your ability to collaborate, pay attention to detail, and make sound decisions will be vital for the successful implementation and sustainability of our training initiatives.
What you will be doing Leading the development and implementation of site training strategies that align with business goals.Overseeing the end-to-end workflow of training programs, including defining site and business outcomes, supporting the development of learning experiences, planning, scheduling, delivering training, and documenting results.Conducting site audits to identify competency, capability, and compliance gaps, and implementing gap closure plans.Fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Collaborating with site teams and supporting plant operations as required.
What you will bring Minimum two years of manufacturing experience in an Operational, Training, SHES, or Quality role.Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills in training.Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical training, within your subject matter area.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in MS Office.Advantage but not necessary:Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)Education background, Certificate or Diploma in training development.
