Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world-famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia.
Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools.
The resort has 225 rooms of varying styles and offers several dining options.
* Ensuring product quality and service standards are consistently high;
* Working with the executive chef on menu creation;
* Training and development of up to 40 employees – chefs, apprentices and other kitchen staff;
* Ensuring all employees comply with relevant workplace health and safety requirements at all times;
* Control and analyze departmental costs on an ongoing basis;
* Devising initiatives and strategies to ensure financial targets are met.
Requirements:
* A formal qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent;
* Experience working at middle to upper level management within a large 4 or 5 star hotel/resort;
* A thorough knowledge of food safety and other workplace health and safety practices;
* A current WA motor vehicle driver’s license.
