Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for providing technical support and coordination to the maintenance field Team Leaders to execute preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance and project deliverables. The role enables continuous improvement and successful execution of planned maintenance activities within the Centralised Maintenance Team.
This position operates on a 2:2 FIFO roster, with Brisbane Airport as the point of hire.
Key Accountabilities
* Developing ongoing management of an end user computing operational model, including standards, contribute to the delivery of standards, objectives, and plans within your area of expertise.
* Facilitate supply planning meetings with stakeholders to help identify and resolve supply chain constraints before work begins.
* Support and lead initiatives to address supply chain issues, failures, or safety‑related incidents.
* Help ensure strong supply chain performance by:
* Enhancing automation within the ERP system.
* Driving efficiency in the RFQ process for ad hoc materials and services.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to support standardisation of processes and materials.
* Coordinate repairable, rotable, and core item supply chains to optimise cost and service outcomes.
* Maintain accurate master data (Bills of Materials/Services) for CAPEX projects in line with engineering designs.
* Maintain Project WBSs and Networks to support effective materials requirements planning for CAPEX work.
* Optimise safety stock levels for CAPEX projects to minimise working capital and reduce obsolescence.
* Lead supply chain change management activities linked to engineering and procurement‑driven changes.
* Develop and share long‑range vendor forecasts to support strong supplier relationships.
* Expedite materials to ensure continuity of supply to stakeholders.
* Contribute to the delivery of strategic supply chain solutions in partnership with internal teams.
* Lead or support procurement and supply chain improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancements to cost, delivery, and quality.
What You'll Bring
You will bring experience in a supply chain‑related role, such as scheduling, planning, contracts, purchasing, or logistics, along with strong analytical and data management capabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments and work confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate Will Also Have
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data.
* Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
* Technical knowledge of oil and gas or similar industry.
Qualifications
You will hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Business, IS, Engineering, or Commerce or bring equivalent practical experience. Additionally, formal training or hands‑on exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous.
