We're seeking a qualified WHS Leader to support regional operations for a national contracting business. This is a hands‐on role combining field‐based safety engagement with systems, compliance and ISO systems management.
About the role
Reporting to the GM People, Culture & Safety, you'll partner with leaders and frontline teams to drive a strong safety culture while ensuring systems and processes remain compliant, practical and effective.
Key responsibilities include
* Providing on‐site HSEQ support, coaching and safety observations
* Managing and maintaining ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
* Leading audits, incident investigations and reporting
* Driving continuous improvement across safety and compliance frameworks
* Supporting policy development, business continuity planning and system enhancements
* Managing client pre‐qualifications and compliance reporting
About you
* Experience in an HSEQ/WHS role (construction, trades or industrial preferred)
* Qualified in Workplace Health & Safety
* Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and ISO standards
* Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
* Tech‐savvy with the ability to manage systems and reporting
* Proactive, practical and confident working both in the field and office
