**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As part of the National Commercial team and reporting to the Head of Commercial Partnerships. The Head of Sales - WA will develop and drive new business opportunities and sales within the Western Australia, South Australia and Northern Territory market. This newly created role will create, lead and develop new business opportunities and create and maintain commercial relationships. Previous experience in freight forwarding sales is imperative.
**DUTIES**
- Responsible for new business sales in WA, SA & NT.
- Generate new business leads & conversion across new and existing verticals
- Work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders to fully understand and sell service capabilities
- Meet set KPI targets as set by management
**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- 7+ years working in the freight forwarding new business development
- Demonstrated success in specific verticals and commodities in previous positions
- Previous experience and demonstrated success working on national and global RFQ, RFI & tender opportunities
- Exposure to working strategic partnerships
