Job Description: Advanced Trainee – Neurological and General Rehabilitation Excellent benefits including salary packaging Challenging and rewarding work environment About the Role This position is based within the Rehabilitation Service at the Kew Campus of St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne, with close links to services across the Continuing Care Stream, including the Fitzroy Campus Rehabilitation Unit and the Rehab@Home program. The St George's Rehabilitation Medicine Registrar is a key member of a dedicated and highly skilled rehabilitation team, providing care to a diverse inpatient cohort. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of neurological, MSK and post medical and surgical admission patients under the supervision of a senior Rehabilitation Medicine Physician, gaining broad exposure to complex rehabilitation care. We are seeking enthusiastic, collaborative trainees with strong communication and clinical skills to join our Advanced Trainee (AT) program in 2027. Successful candidates will: Perform the duties of the position to a high standard under appropriate supervision. Actively support patients, families, and carers to make informed decisions about treatment and ongoing care. Communicate effectively and collaborate with patients, families, carers, general practitioners, colleagues, and broader health and social support networks.
