**About our Opportunity**
We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Key Account Manager to continue managing an existing major customer portfolio and strategically canvas new business opportunities to target new customers. Confident and able to naturally engage and build rapport, you will be at ease in your consultative selling approach to develop and maintain customer relationships by offering hands on support from point of contact, sales and right through to after sales support with the role predominantly being based in office at our Stegbar Rowville branch
In addition, you'll:
- interpret technical design plans, place orders and schedule jobs
- report monthly sales activity and participate in annual sales forecasts and budgets
**About You**
We're looking for a self-motivated professional with a strong service ethos, previous experience in a Sales Representative and/or Account Manager role within the building industry and ability to accurately interpret building plans is a must. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships, your capability to work through and problem solve and your negotiation skills are key to this role. You also need to have knowledge of Australian Building Standards and preference would be to have previous experience or exposure to Salesforce.
