Position
Reporting to the Director Health Safety & Environment, we seek an HSE Officer to join our APAC region to support daily operational HSE across ANZ. The role will be responsible for the implementation of the HSE systems, coordination and administration of HSE processes while contributing to safe working environments and supporting compliance with Australian WHS and environmental requirements.
Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day HSE support to site teams across Australian operations.
* Assist with the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
* Manage and process workers' compensation claims, liaising with insurers, rehabilitation providers, and internal stakeholders.
* Support delivery of inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness sessions.
* Engage with employees to promote hazard, near‐miss, and incident reporting.
* Support and assist with coordination of RTW process and administration of workers compensation and injury management process.
* Conduct audits/inspections across Perth, Queensland and Newcastle sites.

Skills & attributes
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety, Occupational Health & Safety.
* Prior experience working in a matrix organisation supporting a diverse workforce (white/blue‐collar professions) would be desirable, not essential.
* Prior experience in HSE administration and coordination support, including RTW and incident management.
* Experienced or working towards skills in applying Australian WHS legislation, standards and best‐practice frameworks, understanding Australian corporate governance requirements.
* Prior experience in managing or administering a Safety Management System across multiple sites.
* Ability to work in fast‐paced, agile environments with a can‐do attitude.
* Ability to build cohesive relationships across a multi‐level stakeholder group, supporting as general HSE admin.
