The Opportunity
Here your week will be split across 2 clinics, Scottsdale being a large group practice staffed by fellowed GP's, registrars, IMG's and GP VMO's. The second clinic is neighbouring Bridport where you may need to work for up to 3 days across the week and where you will provide essential support being a solo practice.
Across most days you will work from 9am - 5pm whilst on a Wednesday you may be required to assist with the evening clinic with hours being from 11am - 7pm and with it being walk in appointments after 3pm. There may also be the requirement to assist with a nursing home round one morning of the week and within the usual clinic hours.
With Scottsdale being a teaching practice that hosts registrars, resident doctors, and medical students, you may need to provide quality collegial supervision whilst in the clinic.
The daily rate of $1500 is paid along with travel, car and accommodation support provided. There are various blocks of dates available so do reach out to speak further. This role could also support a permanent GP from those interested in long-term work.

The Location
Scottsdale is a small town on the north-east coast of Tasmania and it is the largest town between Launceston and Tasmania's East Coast known for its green fields, blue mountains, rich agricultural and forestry history. Whilst nearby Bridport is a popular beachside holiday destination that will surely give you a fun and memorable locum experience.
