Senior Infrastructure Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Leading Hand to oversee pavement and drainage building works and provide site supervision. The ideal candidate will manage a team of leading hands, subcontractor work crews, and own crew as required.
About the Role
The Senior Leading Hand will ensure all work activities are carried out in a healthy and safe work environment and meet key performance indicators including production rates, site management, and quality. This role involves:
* Managing site quality assurance and conformance activities
* Engaging with TMR inspectorial counterparts, including Traffic Management Centre
* Monitoring resource utilisation, including materials, in line with budgets and targets
* Monitoring performance, efficiency, and advising opportunities for improvements
* Planning and scheduling work to meet timelines and outputs against daily programs and projects
* Providing leadership and support to the team and guidance in delivering best network solutions and promoting a whole-of-life approach to asset management
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a similar role or civil roads experience
* A White Card
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Experience in planning and organising work and ability to read plans/drawings
* Traffic management knowledge
