Northline are on the lookout for HR and HC Drivers to join our Alice Springs team. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast‐paced environment and have strong multi‐tasking skills. We currently have a permanent full‐time position available, Monday to Friday, commencing from approx 6/7 am.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurate and timely delivery of customer's freight;
* Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
* Constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor);
* Maintaining a truck log to align with current state legislation;
* Operating a forklift;
* Manual handling of freight and curtain gates.
As a successful candidate you will
* Hold a current and valid HR or HC Licence;
* Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF);
* Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
* Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
* Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast‐paced environment;
* An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.
