About the Role
You will plan and deliver Stage 6 English Studies for Year 12, designing engaging lessons, assessment tasks, and learning experiences that connect literacy with practical trade contexts. ICT‑rich teaching, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster positive relationships with senior students are essential.
What You'll Bring
* Secondary Teaching Qualification
* Bachelor of Education degree required
* Accreditation to teach Stage 6 English
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Proven ability to develop curriculum‑aligned programs, resources and assessments
* Ability to contextualise literacy for trade‑focused learners
* Capacity to embed ICT into teaching and learning
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong ability to build rapport with students aged 15–19
* Commitment to diversity, inclusion, anti‑discrimination, and maintaining a safe learning environment
