Home Care Assistant Job Description
You are part of a positive team making an important difference for others as a Home Care Assistant. This role goes beyond tasks; you nurture relationships and maintain a comfortable and safe home environment for clients, supporting their wellbeing and independence.
Provide hospitality services like cleaning, laundry, or washing dishes while following Client Care Plans. Document services provided and act as an advocate to improve client wellbeing.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and insured car. We value passion, care, and respect towards residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver quality care and support to clients in their homes.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions, including progress notes and any changes to care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
• Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
