Peer Reviewer - Film Studies

Requirements
* A doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in film studies
* At least two publications in the last two years in the field of film studies
* Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
* Strong written communication skills to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback
* Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively
* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and objectivity
* Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals is highly desirable
Responsibilities
1. Evaluate manuscript novelty and determine whether it adds new knowledge or insights to the field
2. Analyze study design and methodology to assess their appropriateness, comprehensiveness, and clarity
3. Check literature review to ensure thorough incorporation and citation of up-to-date research in the field
4. Analyze results and conclusions to evaluate their presentation and support
5. Provide constructive feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting any flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns
6. Recommend publication based on evaluation
