This is not a remote working position and will be delivered fully on-site in Port Macquarie
What you'll be doing
The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) coordinates, delivers and evaluates clinical nursing education programs at a ward/service level and provides clinical supervision in order to support development of evidence based, person centred nursing care in line with the standards, policies and procedures of the Ministry of Health and other statutory authorities.
This Clinical Nurse Educator role will be part of the MNC Virtual Care Services - MNC Integrated Virtual Care. Aged Care Outreach Service and Hospital in the Home.
The role will assist in upskilling nurses across a broad range of clinical proficiencies, delivering virtual and on-site education and training to the clinical team, in line with the primary purpose of MNC Integrated Virtual Care Services: to reduce preventable admissions and decrease length of hospital stay through Urgent Care service delivery, early intervention and care navigation to people who have been identified as at risk of presentation and hospitalisation for low acuity conditions that can be safely managed over a virtual platform.
