MPW are currently looking for motivated individuals with a can-do attitude, to join our team and assist our site fabricators, plastic welders and experienced labourers. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a general level of physical fitness. You must be a person who takes pride in their work and looks after tools and equipment.
We have multiple positions available which would suit individuals who are up for something new everyday Experience is favoured but not essential.
ABOUT YOU
* Are you a practical problem solver with a strong work ethic?
* Are you eager to learn new skills and be a valued team member gaining experience across a variety of operations departments?
* Do you have experience using power tools, generators etc. and are generally handy and physically fit?
* Does working in the Huon Valley and surrounds sound good to you?
* Previous experience with HDPE buttwelding, extrusion and electrofusion welding would be viewed favourably but not essential.
* Likewise forklift, telehandler, excavator etc. tickets would be viewed favourably but not essential.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking to expand our skilled poly welding and fabricating operations team.
* We'll provide training opportunities with our in-house trainer and Nationally Accredited Qualifications for skill sets.
* There will be opportunities for working across our varied departments and diversifying your skills around rotomoulding, fabrication, offsite jobs, supervising, installation and estimation works.
* Potential travel around Tasmania, interstate and overseas.
* Above award pay rates.
* Potential Full Time position for right candidates.
Candidates must hold a C class drivers licence and be prepared to participate in drug & alcohol screening and a pre-employment police check.
