About the Role
This is a challenging position that requires an experienced test professional to join our technology division on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality, functionality and reliability of our software products and systems.
* Design, develop and maintain automated tests across UI, mobile and API platforms.
* Collaborate with development teams to identify requirements, test manually and implement automated test cases.
* Analyse test results, identify defects and ensure timely resolution.
* Contribute to improving the IS Test Automation Frameworks and continuous testing processes.
* Evaluate and recommend new automation tools, frameworks and methodologies.
* Report on test progress and outcomes to key stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in software test automation.
* A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle.
* Proficiency with open-source automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium or Playwright, and API testing frameworks such as Postman or Rest Sharp.
* Experience with test frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
* Programming skills in C# or JavaScript.
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab or Azure DevOps.
* Familiarity with cloud technologies, ideally AWS.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capability to identify risks and optimise testing strategies.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
