Job Title: Learning Specialist Range 3 - English and Literacy Learning Area Leader
Job Description:
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced educator with a passion for teaching and learning. The successful applicant will have the ability to model high-quality teaching practices, lead by example, and provide expert advice on curriculum planning and delivery.
Key responsibilities include leading whole-school improvement strategies, mentoring and coaching teachers, developing processes and protocols for observation and feedback of teacher practice, and playing a key role in the provision of professional learning opportunities.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their expertise in teaching and learning, as well as their ability to work collaboratively with staff members to achieve school goals. They will also be expected to stay up-to-date with best practices in education and apply their knowledge to improve student outcomes.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, applicants must hold a valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration and have demonstrated experience in the relevant curriculum area(s). They should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the broader community.
