An exciting chance has arisen for a Laboratory Technician within our NATA Accredited Geotechnical Laboratory in Brendale.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be working closely with a passionate and dedicated team within our Brendale office providing services to the essential construction materials, mining and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders across the region and support your technical growth within the wider SLR team. Your day-to-day could include:
Undertaking sample preparation to nominated test methods as instructed by the Laboratory Manager
Undertaking materials testing with some supervision where instructed
Assisting in the day-to-day functions of the laboratory as instructed by the Laboratory Manager
Carrying out other duties as may be required from time to time to meet the changing business needs of the organisation and/or as instructed by the business
Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant qualifications in Laboratory Operations
5 years + professional experience in a lab-based role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
Excellent driving history and hold a current unrestricted driver's license.
