About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at the village. As a pivotal member of our operation, you will ensure seamless service delivery and exceed guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate meal services, including cooking duties and menu planning.
* Implement Civeo's seasonal menus and promote local, quality produce.
* Maintain kitchen presentation and adhere to ISO Quality Assurance Certifications.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the kitchen.
* Lead a professional hospitality culture among the kitchen team.
* Evaluate individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and development opportunities.
* Provide training to junior staff and attend team meetings as required.
About You
* At least 5 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role.
* Certificate III Commercial Cookery qualification (or equivalent) with relevant certification.
* Manual Driver's Licence.
* Extensive knowledge of bulk catering and batch cooking in various cuisines.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Experience maintaining ISO Quality Assurance Certification.
* Advanced budgetary analytical skills.
* Remote work experience (highly regarded).
