Job Description
The role will involve providing support with personal care, including assistance with showering and personal hygiene, as well as general house cleaning duties, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments.
* Personal Care: Assist clients with showering and personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
* General House Cleaning Duties: Provide support with household tasks, including changing bed linen, laundry, and ironing.
* Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
* Transportation: Transport clients to appointments, social events, and other activities, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* National Police Check: A current National Police Check issued within the last 12 months by the Australian Federal Police Check or ACIC (purpose of employment Aged Care Staff).
* Cert III Individual Support: A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
* First Aid/CPR Certificate: A current First Aid/CPR Certificate.
* Registered Motor Vehicle: A reliable, registered motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
