* Part time 0.82 FTE, 30 hours per week, long‐term contract until 2 July 2027
* TPS000 salary range $84,971 - $123,236 per annum + super (Adjusted to hours worked)
* Based at Whyalla campus / Barngarla Country
The Opportunity
The Early Childhood Teacher, working within a child care environment, is responsible for the overall development and implementation of a recognised early childhood curriculum for children aged from birth to 5 years based on each child's individual needs and interests. The Early Childhood Teacher works with a high degree of autonomy in consultation with the coordinator in delivering the childcare and teaching programs.
What We're Looking For
* Recognised 4‐year early childhood degree or qualification that is recognised by licensing authorities as an Early Childhood Teacher level
* Working within a team environment to enhance the pedagogical context and experience
* Experience in day‐to‐day leadership of a team with the Child Care Service, development, and implementation of recognised early childhood curriculum (Early Learning Years Framework) and relevant childhood educational programmes
What You Need to Know
A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the South Australian Department of Human Services is required before employment.
