Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team at our Tuncurry Head Office. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organisation and enjoy ocean views from your desk while doing meaningful work.

About the Role
As our Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:
 * End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 590 employees
 * Managing Workers Compensation and PIAWE calculations
 * Responding to employee and manager payroll queries
 * Supporting the HR team with continuous improvement initiatives
You'll need to be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks effectively, and have a strong understanding of payroll systems and legislation.

What You'll Need
 * Solid understanding of payroll systems and functions
 * Knowledge of National Employment Standards and the Fair Work Act
 * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
 * Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
 * A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
 * Experience with Technology One and Time Target is desirable but not essential
