The company is known for delivering advanced technical solutions in the renewable energy and power systems sector, with a key focus on grid connections, energy storage, and utility-scale solar projects.The role we are recruiting is a Senior Power System Engineer to play a leading role in the delivery of high-profile energy projects across Australia.
This is a senior technical position that requires strong hands-on modelling capabilities, regulatory knowledge, and project leadership.The RoleConduct and deliver high-quality power system studies for utility-scale renewable projects, collaborating closely with clients, utilities, consultants, and operators (e.g., AEMO, TNSPs, NSPs).
Lead and manage the grid interconnection process for renewable projects from development to execution.Engage with stakeholders to ensure projects align with Australian Grid Codes (NER) and Generator Performance Standards (GPS).
Provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, including feasibility, modelling, and commissioning.Prepare and review grid performance reports and compliance documentation.The RequirementsTo qualify for this opportunity, please look at the requirements carefully before submitting your details.Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (PhD in Power Systems desirable).5+ years of relevant power system experience.Strong proficiency in DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD.Familiarity with Python scripting for modelling automation and analysis.Proven experience managing interactions with AEMO, TNSPs, or NSPs for connection studies or regulatory submissions.What's in It for you?
