The business is hands‑on, fast‑paced and growing, and now requires an Office Manager who can bring structure, financial discipline and operational efficiency across multiple moving parts.
Your new role
You will take ownership of day‑to‑day office and operational management while supporting financial reporting across several business entities. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll prepare accurate weekly and monthly reporting, manage financial administration, and ensure smooth coordination across different operational areas.
This role also includes dotted‑line oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and NSW‑based administrative staff, ensuring consistency, accuracy and strong communication across the group.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing financial and operational reports using advanced Excel.
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting and job‑costing activities.
* Overseeing financial administration across entities, including invoice processing, reconciliations and expense tracking.
* Coordinating office operations, supplier management, onboarding, facilities and workflow improvements.
* Providing leadership, guidance and workflow coordination to AP, AR and admin functions.
* Identifying and implementing process improvements across construction, manufacturing, property and farming entities.
* Supporting senior leaders with project coordination and operational insight.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience as an Office Manager, Operations Coordinator or Business Support professional, ideally within construction, manufacturing or multi‑entity environments.
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, dashboarding).
* Strong financial reporting and administration capability.
* Experience supporting or overseeing AP/AR functions (directly or via dotted‑line).
* High sense of urgency, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.
* Confidence working across multiple business units and stakeholders.
* Full unrestricted working rights in Australia.
