Vehicle Mechanic - Defence
Join Ventia in keeping the Australian Defence Force's wheels turning A great opportunity for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our fully-geared Defence Maintenance Contract team based at Cabarlah QLD. Late in **** expected work in Oakey; a vehicle will be provided then for travels.
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy military vehicles, including 4WDs, trucks, tracked and armoured vehicles, infantry personnel carriers and even armoured tanks.

About The Role
Conduct maintenance tasks, including technical inspection and classification
Repair or replace worn or faulty parts by removing assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials.
Reassemble, test, clean and adjust repaired or replaced parts
Carry out minor body repairs and trim repairs
Test and repair electrical systems such as lighting, ignition and electronic fuel injection.
Inspect vehicles and issue road-worthiness certificates
About You
Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level
Open to Light Vehicle Mechanics with demonstrated Heavy vehicle experience
Demonstrated experience to inspect, repair and maintain Light, Medium and Heavy vehicles
Must possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License
Australian citizenship and able to maintain a Defence Security Clearance
