Your New Role and Responsibilities

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact across a portfolio of dynamic IT projects? Leidos Australia is seeking a Senior Project Financial Analyst to play a key role in driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making.

In this role, you will:

* Act as a strategic business partner to program and project teams, offering financial advice that aligns with operational goals and contractual commitments.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across finance, delivery, and operations to ensure alignment and transparency.
* Provide decision support through cost analysis, scenario modelling, and risk assessment to enable proactive financial management.
* Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis, translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes by leveraging historical trends and performance metrics to guide planning and resource allocation.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems.

This a fantastic opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will help shape the success of critical programs.

What You'll Bring to Make An Impact

* Proven ability to build strong business partnerships and effectively manage a diverse range of stakeholders across functions and geographies.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to navigating competing priorities and driving outcomes under tight deadlines.
* Solid foundation in financial management, reporting, and governance, with a track record of supporting project delivery teams and contributing to program success.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, to support data-driven decision-making and reporting.
* Experience working in a global business environment is highly valued, particularly with financial systems such as CostPoint, OAC, or OBI.

Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes - if you meet most of them, we encourage you to submit your application. We're most interested in your strengths, what you want to learn and how far you want to go.
