Job Description:
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of remedial and strengthening works across various civil infrastructure projects. This role involves ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in project execution.
You will lead site teams and subcontractors, coordinate project execution, and play a key role in maintaining the structural integrity of bridges, buildings, marine structures, and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead by example, fostering a strong safety-first culture
* Develop and implement QSE plans, work procedures, and SWMS with project engineers
* Manage subcontractors and internal site teams to ensure high-quality project execution
* Plan and coordinate labor, plant, equipment, and materials to meet program and budget targets
* Train site personnel and enforce compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
* Conduct and document safety prestarts and site inspections
* Monitor site productivity, identify areas for improvement, and drive efficiency
* Manage site variations and delays, working closely with project engineers
Requirements:
* Proven experience (4+ years) as a Site Supervisor or Foreman in remedial or civil construction
* Expertise in concrete repairs, structural strengthening, and coatings
* Background in facade upgrades, steel and carbon-fibre strengthening (preferred)
* Experience with shotcrete and hydro-demolition (advantageous)
* Ability to run site operations autonomously as a main contractor
* Strong subcontractor management and leadership skills
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to conduct toolbox talks
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and site management software
* Trade qualification (preferred but not essential)
