About the Role
As Senior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef and management team to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality standards, and lead a high-performing culinary team in a dynamic entertainment venue.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations
* Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff
* Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and compliance
* Assist with rostering, stock control, ordering, and cost management
* Drive kitchen efficiency during high-volume service periods
* Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
* Foster a positive and professional team environment
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume venue
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
* Passion for quality food and customer experience
* Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and public holidays
* Relevant culinary qualifications preferred
