Overview
This role is accountable for a variety of activities including the development of plans, forecasting of future workload and inventory requirements, and repair parts to support the sustainment and acquisition of logistics.
Responsibilities
* Implementing and ensuring compliance with policy, processes and procedures to support the sustainment of equipment.
* Providing responses to complex correspondence, briefs and reports for delegate consideration.
* Managing budgets in support of various fleets and equipment.
* Collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts to resolve materiel logistics issues and applying expertise and initiative to identify alternate courses of action.
About our Team
Joint Logistic Unit‑Victoria (JLU‑V) delivers logistics services including warehousing, distribution and material maintenance to Defence customers nationally and overseas. The regional sustainment team is responsible for managing items of supply on behalf of stock owners and for managing Defence platforms and commodities both existing and new.

* Skilled and experienced in providing detailed materiel logistics technical and professional advice in relation to complex work.

* Capable of exercising financial responsibilities to achieve outcomes for Defence.
* Experienced in stakeholder engagement in relation to complex issues and able to manage expectations to achieve results.
* Ability to respond to changing priorities.
Eligibility
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at "Negative Vetting Level 1".
