Role
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing and Communications Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the execution, performance and day‐to‐day operation of the School's marketing and communications function. This is a true 2IC position, leading the team, managing priorities and ensuring a successful delivery of integrated campaigns and communications across a complex, multi‐campus environment. You will translate strategy into action, enabling the School to achieve its enrolment, brand and engagement objectives.
Key Duties
* Lead and develop a high‐performing Marketing & Communications team, fostering a strong, collaborative "One School" culture and clear accountability for outcomes.
* Own day‐to‐day operations, including workflow, prioritisation and delivery across campaigns, content, digital, events and communications.
* Drive campaign execution and performance, ensuring activity is aligned to enrolment growth, brand positioning and community engagement goals.
* Allocate resources effectively, balancing competing priorities across campuses and stakeholders to maximise impact.
* Champion brand excellence, ensuring consistency, quality and clarity across all communications and touchpoints.
* Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, aligning initiatives to School priorities and influencing outcomes through insight and expertise.
* Embed a data‐led approach, using insights, reporting and continuous improvement to optimise performance.
* Model and uphold the values and behaviours of Caulfield Grammar School.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience leading marketing and/or communications functions within complex organisations.
* Strong people‐leadership capability, with a track record of building, coaching and managing high‐performing teams.
* Demonstrated success delivering integrated, multi‐channel campaigns across the full customer journey.
* Highly developed stakeholder‐management and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate competing priorities.
* Commercially and strategically astute, with strong operational discipline and attention to quality.
* Experience using data and insights to drive decision‐making and improve performance.
* Relevant qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Employment Working with Children Check.
