The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced operator to lead the charge on our café, patisserie and night-offering. Think The Grounds of Alexandria or The Farm in Byron Bay – relaxed, outdoor vibes, Australian native botanicals, a food-forward offering, and systems that run like clockwork.
The Role
As an entrepreneurial leader you’ll:
* Lead fit out and develop the concept for the venue
* Hire and build your own team
* Design the menu
* Ensuring compliance to standards and set up systems (POS, ordering, suppliers)
* Create the culture you’ve always wanted to work in – with an eye to exceptional guest service
* Manage all stock, ordering, and kitchen operations
There is plenty of room to make this your own – write the 555 cookbook, develop your own line of condiments featuring native ingredients! You’ll have support from an ownership team with runs on the board in both hospitality and retail.
About You
* Suit an experienced manager wanting to take the next step or an experienced owner-operator wanting a new venture without the financial risk
* Strong leadership skills to build a team and maintain standards
* Business savvy with cost control and efficiency expertise
* Proficient in kitchen systems, stock management, and compliance
* Experience in seasonal/tourist locations valuable
