Position Overview
The Engineering Technician performs testing and inspection to meet quality standards in their assigned area.They may load software and conduct operational testing as needed.Therole involves working with quality and engineering teams to meet customer expectations,maintainingequipment, and completing other assigned tasks in the area.
What your day-to-day will look like:
* Assistswith andobservesroutine engineering related studies, processes, designs,inspectionsand/or quality audits.
* Provides assistancewith gathering,recordingandmaintainingengineering specific information.
* Assistswith the preparation of routine charts,graphs,and diagrams to illustrate various engineering procedures.
* Provides assistancewith routine testing and troubleshooting in a variety of engineering tasks.
* Assistsin assembling routine prototypes.
* Assistswith routinespecificationdevelopment or preparation.
* Performs routine work within technical or paraprofessional area.
* Identifiesproblems as they occur andsuggestsappropriate stepsto solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complex.
* Seeksadvice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from others.
