The Demand Planner will also be responsible for leading demand planning activities and ensuring effective and efficient outcomes from the demand planning process through liaison and partnership with Hospital and Health Services (HHS) customers and regional team members. The position incumbent will deliver timely and accurate demand forecasts, relevant reports and practical analysis using defined standard supply chain processes to facilitate delivery of efficiencies across the Supply Chain. A high level of engagement will be required with high level senior customers ranging from HHS's, suppliers, the statewide procurement team and other regional hub and supply chain teams.

- Demonstrated ability to develop strong, strategic and trusted business relationships that will influence key stakeholders and clients, both internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Successful track record in leading demand planning activities that have consistently delivered excellent performance, including demonstrable expert knowledge and understanding of 'best in class' strategic and transactional elements of the demand planning function.
- Demonstrated experience in forecasting business demands and supply trends and analysing outcomes to provide recommendations on improvements to the demand planning activities across the business.
- High level and practical experience in partnering across functional areas with an aim of optimising systems and processes to obtain key information and data as well as in the presentation of business demands and supply trends.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for Health Support Queensland and the suppliers which support the process of successful of product and category management
- Strong SAP knowledge experience and computer skills in excel and PowerPoint
**Qualifications, registrations and other requirements**:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in forecasting, demand planning whilst not mandatory would be highly regarded.
- This position will be based in Brisbane, but will involve travel to regional HHS sites as required
