Reporting to the owner/manager, this role will involve managing the Northam Precision Farming sales for Boekeman Machinery, with the option for other potential locations within the Wheatbelt. This role includes building and maintaining customer relationships and providing support to Precision Farming Technicians and Sales Consultants.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage Precision Farming parts stock, including pricing and availability information, stock takes, tracking parts, etc.
- Discuss, quote, sell and fit products and services.
- Be the first level of phone support for customers, ensuring prompt replies.
- Develop and maintain customer support documentation - manuals, guides, etc.
- Plan and coordinate customer training days before the season.
- Work closely with salespeople on product compatibility and requirements.
- Check and calibrate new and used precision farming items before issuing.
- Attend any in-house sales, marketing or AFS training days.
- Call on farms to solicit new and existing businesses to generate sales.
