The Team
The North West Speech Pathology team delivers inpatient, outpatient & community services across 2 hospitals, a community health centre and in people's homes to adults, preschool aged children and babies who experience communication and swallowing difficulties.
The Role
* Provide appropriate management including assessment, diagnosis and treatment to inpatients and adult outpatients with communication and/or swallowing/feeding difficulties.
* Work as an effective member of multidisciplinary teams achieving patient-focused outcomes.
* Maintain contemporary professional knowledge through appropriate continuing professional development activities and actively participate in quality improvement.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, part time, day worker position, working 63.8 hours per fortnight, until 1 December 2026.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary
$73,834 to $111,364 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Union Wages Agreement no. 2 of 2022.
Salary Packaging
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Allowances
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.

* Tertiary qualification/program of study accredited by Speech Pathology Australia
* Hold, or be eligible for, full membership with the Speech Pathology Australia
* Current Working with Children Registration
