Transport Canberra Light Rail Operations is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Director, Rail Interface Management to join our team to cover a temporary vacancy for 2 months. This role works with the rest of the Light Rail Operations team to ensure the safe and effective operation of Canberra’s light rail system through asset oversight, interface coordination and stakeholder engagement. As the successful candidate, you will: Conduct regular asset inspections and complete reports Analyse asset data and performance trends from Canberra Metro’s systems to support informed decision-making. Prepare executive reports, presentations and contractual correspondence. Manage and maintain key interface agreements, ensuring compliance and regular review with relevant stakeholders. Oversee access and permit processes for the light rail operating area, ensuring alignment with WHS requirements. Support WHS compliance and training for TCCS staff and subcontractors accessing the light rail environment. This is role requires strong communication, analytical and coordination skills, with a focus on safety, performance and stakeholder collaboration Eligibility/Other Requirements: This position may be required to participate in drug and alcohol testing.
