E-commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist (Shopify + SEO + Google Ads) hourly
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Shopify Product Lister & Digital Marketing Specialist to help us grow our e-commerce presence. This is a hybrid role combining Shopify product listing, SEO, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Google My Business (GMB) marketing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing product catalogs, running paid ad campaigns, optimizing for organic traffic, and creating engaging promotional content.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Product Listing & Management
Add, edit, and manage product listings on Shopify.
Write engaging, SEO-friendly titles and descriptions.
Organize products using correct tags, collections, and categories.
Optimize images, alt text, and metadata for faster load time and SEO.
SEO & Organic Traffic Growth
Conduct keyword research and apply to product and collection pages.
Optimize site structure, internal linking, and URLs.
Track performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools.
Suggest and implement content or blog strategies for organic growth.
Google Ads & Paid Marketing
Set up and manage Google Search, Shopping, and Display campaigns.
Optimize ad copy, bids, keywords, and targeting for performance.
Maintain accurate product feeds in Google Merchant Center .
Track ROI and conversion performance across all campaigns.
Google My Business (GMB) Management
Regularly update Google My Business profile with posts, offers, and events.
Create and schedule GMB posts promoting products, promotions, and reviews.
Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all platforms.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews and questions on GMB.
Website Optimization & CRO
Improve site usability, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
Set up and track conversion events/goals via Google Analytics.
Use tools like Hotjar or Lucky Orange to analyze user behavior.
Recommend and implement improvements to increase conversions.
Qualifications
Experience managing Shopify stores and product listings.
Proficient in SEO best practices and tools (Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, Google tools).
Strong understanding of Google Ads and Google Merchant Center.
Experience managing and optimizing a Google My Business profile.
Excellent English writing skills for product descriptions and ad copy.
Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok Ads.
Familiarity with email marketing tools like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop).
Experience with A/B testing and landing page optimization.
