**Key Responsibilities**

* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and OH&S standards at all times.
* Support in rostering, stock control, and cost management.
* Collaborate on menu development and seasonal updates.
* Supervise kitchen operations during functions and events.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume service environment, preferably in hotels or function venues.
* Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Sound understanding of food safety and compliance standards, with the ability to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Ability to work across a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
* Relevant culinary qualifications, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate highly regarded.
