Corporate Governance and Risk Administrator

This is a challenging opportunity for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Corporate Governance and Risk Administrator.

About the Role:

* The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all corporate governance related matters, including reviewing the organization's governance framework and making recommendations for improvement.
* They will also ensure the preparation, collation and distribution of agendas, papers, meeting information packs, minutes and reports for audit and risk committee meetings.
* Maintaining oversight of audit and risk committee work-plans and preparation for future meetings, reviewing minutes of audit and risk committee meetings, and managing action point completion from minutes of audit and risk committee meetings are also key responsibilities.
* The role involves supporting the CEO and CFO with all other corporate governance related matters, including assisting with preparation of board papers, stakeholder reporting, compliance obligations, and corporate governance calendar & planning.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage corporate governance related matters, including reviewing the organization's governance framework and making recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure the preparation, collation and distribution of agendas, papers, meeting information packs, minutes and reports for audit and risk committee meetings.
* Maintain oversight of audit and risk committee work-plans and preparation for future meetings, review minutes of audit and risk committee meetings, and manage action point completion from minutes of audit and risk committee meetings.
* Support the CEO and CFO with all other corporate governance related matters, including assisting with preparation of board papers, stakeholder reporting, compliance obligations, and corporate governance calendar & planning.
* Regularly review and assess the risk management framework, policies, and strategic and operational risk registers to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management is maintained.
* Coordinate and manage all matters relating to the risk management committee, including preparing agendas, papers, meeting information packs, and following up on action items.
* Ensure risk management policies and procedures are effectively communicated to the management and staff throughout the organization.
* Support all areas of the business to conduct and review risk assessments, in accordance with the risk management framework.
* Undertake and project manage projects to ensure an effective risk management and corporate governance across the organization, with a focus on continual improvement.
* Oversee other special projects as required, this may involve coordinating multiple simultaneous work streams and communicating effectively with individuals to ensure project deadlines are met and benefits delivered.

Requirements:

* A strong understanding of corporate governance principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* A high level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
* A proven ability to analyze complex information and make sound recommendations.
* An understanding of risk management principles and practices.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working arrangements.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
