Key Responsibilities
* Receiving, unloading, and accurately documenting incoming stock and materials is essential for maintaining inventory accuracy.
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining a tidy warehouse environment that promotes efficiency and productivity.
* Picking of units, ducting and sundries for pickup by production teams and customers requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Conducting regular stock counts and monitoring inventory levels ensures accurate forecasting and minimizes waste.
* Assisting with loading and unloading delivery vehicles is a critical aspect of the role that requires physical stamina and endurance.
* Monitoring sundries levels and reordering as needed ensures that production teams have access to the necessary materials at all times.
* Liaising with suppliers regarding purchase orders, returns and faulty items is a key responsibility that requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
* A current national police clearance is mandatory for this role.
* Good physical fitness (lifting not exceeding 20kg) is essential for performing the duties of this position.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar warehouse or supply chain role is preferred.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.
* Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team is vital for achieving business objectives.
