Job Overview
The Directorate of Estate and Land Management (DELM) within the Service Delivery Division is responsible for planning, delivering, and maintaining Estate Upkeep and Land Management services, ensuring compliance across the Defence estate.
The Business Operations section provides critical administrative support to enable these functions.
As an Administration Officer you will deliver high-quality administrative services, manage shared inboxes, coordinate tasks, maintain business rules, and support the development of standard operating procedures.
You will work within a small, collaborative team, prioritising tasks, managing workflows, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement, and supporting a geographically dispersed team.
Occasional travel may be required.
Team & Reporting
The Business Operations team is one of five sections within the Directorate of Estate & Land Management.
It operates across four states and reports to the Facilities Program Officer.
You will be a key member of a dedicated administrative team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and organise shared inboxes and email correspondence.
Coordinate day-to-day tasks and projects across the estate and land management portfolio.
Maintain and enforce business rules and standard operating procedures.
Provide timely and accurate documentation and reporting to stakeholders.
Engage with internal and external parties on Estate Upkeep activities.
Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Support professional development activities for the geographically dispersed team.

Security Clearance and Eligibility
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at Baseline Vetting level.
