Job Title: Application Packager and Technical Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for the development, introduction, sustainment, and evolution of software and hardware in fixed and deployed environments for mission planning systems.
- Contribute to the development of solutions that resolve data support issues for mission planning systems.
- Develop, manage, and maintain software, hardware, and system configurations for mission planning systems.
- Deliver Level 1, 2, and 3 application support to ensure all mission systems are operational and meet user needs.
- Identify and manage program and technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.
Requirements:
- Experience with Defence ICT environments (including Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE)).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Imaging, Windows Server, and Desktop Operating System security, and administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager – application definition, deployment, and monitoring.
- Administrative level understanding of Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- PowerShell and Batch scripting skills.
- Defence ICT security accreditation.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of Aviation Mission Planning and the AC-C2CS environment.
- MSI packaging experience (Admin Studio, Advanced Installer).
- Knowledge of enterprise mobile device management software and iOS operating systems.
- Experience in software development environments.
- Database administration and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Software testing experience, including unit testing.
- Knowledge of hypervisor technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with enterprise security platforms such as Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator.
- Enterprise-level recovery and backup tools.
- Geospatial data mapping and imagery skills.
