A well-established civil contractor delivering infrastructure projects across roads, earthworks, drainage, and utilities. With a strong pipeline of work across regional NSW and Victoria, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project delivery and drive commercial outcomes.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of civil construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects from award through to completionDevelop and manage project programmes, budgets, and resource plansManage subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performanceEnsure compliance with HSEQ requirements and environmental standardsMonitor project financial performance including cost control, forecasts, and variationsManage project risks and implement mitigation strategiesLiaise with clients, consultants, and authoritiesLead and mentor project engineers and site teamsPrepare monthly project reports and progress claims
Skills & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar7-10+ years experience in civil constructionProven experience managing projects valued $1m-$10m+Strong knowledge of contracts (AS4000, AS2124, AS4902)Experience delivering projects such as:Roads & bridgesBulk earthworksDrainage and utilitiesStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent commercial and contract administration capability
