Description
SASMAR is looking for a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. As a fast-growing pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, we operate in multiple countries around the world, including Malta, Sydney, Belgium, Hong Kong, Mumbai, London, and Chicago.
As the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of SASMAR, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the company's financial health and growth. You will play a key role in shaping the organization's financial future and guiding strategic decisions.
Your expertise will help ensure that SASMAR meets its overall business objectives while maintaining sound financial practices and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Direct and oversee group financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance with regulations.
* Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
* Analyze financial data and provide insights to the executive team on business performance and opportunities for growth.
* Oversee financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
* Manage relationships with financial institutions, and external auditors.
* Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
* Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, maintaining integrity in financial reporting.
* Manage the company's capital structure and optimize financing strategies.
* Collaborate with other departments to drive overall business performance.
* Stay informed about industry trends, economic changes, and regulatory updates that could impact the company financially.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
* Strong knowledge of finance, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
* Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills.
* Experience in financial planning, risk management, and investment analysis.
* Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
* Fluency in English, additional languages are an advantage.
