About The Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Lawyer – Family Law and Independent Children's Lawyer (ICL) to provide expert legal services in family law, domestic and family violence, and child protection matters. This role offers the rare opportunity to advocate for the best interests of children while mentoring fellow legal professionals and contributing to legal reform.
About You
* Expertise in Family Law: Extensive experience in family law, domestic and family violence, and child protection matters, with a firm understanding of ethical and procedural standards.
* Advocacy Skills: Proven ability to represent clients and advocate effectively in court, including as an Independent Children's Lawyer.
* Leadership Abilities: A strong commitment to mentoring and developing others, with a growth mindset and the ability to inspire confidence in challenging situations.
* Trauma-Informed Practice: Sensitivity and experience working with vulnerable clients, particularly children and families impacted by trauma.
* Commitment to Social Justice: A passion for advancing fairness and protecting the rights of disadvantaged individuals and families.
