We are seeking a highly skilled Data and Security Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and ongoing management of structured data networks, fire, security, and MATV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Network Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain structured data networks to ensure seamless connectivity and performance.
* Fire and Security Systems: Install, test, and maintain fire and security systems to ensure optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards.
* MATV Systems: Install, configure, and maintain MATV systems to deliver high-quality video and audio content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* ACMA Open Cabler's Licence or Equivalent: Possess a valid ACMA Open Cabler's Licence or equivalent certification.
* Current Drivers Licence: Hold a current driver's licence to enable safe transportation to job sites.
* Experience in Data Cabling Field: Have extensive experience in data cabling installations, including fibre optic and copper cable infrastructure.
* Endorsements from Data Manufacturers: Possess endorsements from reputable data manufacturers, demonstrating expertise and knowledge of their products.
* Electrical Licence (Desirable): Holding an electrical licence is desirable but not essential for this role.
* Certified Police Check and Working with Children's Check: Hold a current certified police check and working with children's check to ensure clearance for sensitive work environments.
