PhysioSpec is excited to be on the search for a full time or part-time Continence and Women’s Health Physiotherapist. The clinic is a warm, inviting and private space solely focused on providing care for pelvic health clients located in a large regional town, with a significant catchment area. Suitable candidates need to be enthusiastic, passionate about women’s health and have worked in the area to any extent for a minimum of 2 years. About the Position:
- Is flexible and can be tailored to suit your preferences
- Caseload can be either pelvic health or a mix of pelvic and non-pelvic health clients
- Clientele are predominantly private with some Medicare and occasional NDIS
- No workers compensation clients
- Mentoring available
- Remuneration is salary based, providing above award wage
Requirements:
- Registered with the Australian Physiotherapy Association
- Proof of Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Registered with AHPRA
- Current first aid and CPR
- Police record check
- Working with Children Check
- Tertiary qualification approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Coursework or university level training in pelvic health
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively and show initiative
- High level of professionalism and communication skills
Clinic details:
- Appointments available 9am-5pm weekdays only
- Predominantly face to face consultations with telehealth appointments available
- Fully enclosed private consult rooms
- Home visits for new Mum’s (in the first 6 weeks postpartum) within the Tamworth town limits
- Use of trans-abdominal and trans-perineal real-time ultrasound available
- Predominant populations are ante/postnatal and middle-aged women
