Overview
Boutique Manager - Jaeger-LeCoultre, Sydney. Jaeger-LeCoultre is looking for a Boutique Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the boutique in Sydney. The role reports to the Senior Commercial Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Regional Retail Manager and is responsible for building and implementing local strategies and directing the team to develop sales, CRM and client service within the boutique.
Responsibilities
Advising, Clienteling & Business development aligned with Maison Identity
Ensure boutique objectives achievement (turnover, clients, portfolio development)
Define and implement the business development strategy and boutique action plan in collaboration with Retail Manager
Work with the Commercial and Retail Manager to develop action plans to grow clientele and boutique business
Partner with the CRM Manager to implement clienteling strategies to improve new clients' acquisition and loyal clients' retention
Be a referent for the Maison, watchmaking know-how and develop knowledge on the competition
Ensure exceptional client experience and maintain the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
Be an ambassador for the Maison inside and outside of the boutique
Collaborate with CRC Ambassadors and Online retail team
Handle customer repair requests efficiently and professionally
Maintain consistent, high standards of cleanliness, presentation and customer service
Manage and develop team
Support and challenge team members to reach targets through boutique floor presence, coaching, 1-to-1 meetings, feedback, and training, in coordination with the Training Manager
Set, implement, and monitor individual and collective sales and development plans for the team based on retail KPIs
Lead regular team meetings to ensure targets and client experience best practices are understood
Manage administrative and HR tasks
Define sharing of roles and responsibilities in the boutique
Actively recruit, maintain talent pipeline, and onboard new team members
Boutique Operations
Ensure compliance with Group policies and Maison's commercial rules
Oversee safety and security of the boutique, stock and premises
Ensure operating procedures are followed (stock management, product handling, security, audits, financial processes) through management of stock and Sales Administrator and the sales team
Manage daily setup and breakdown of the boutique for opening/closing
What about you?
7-10 years of retail management, preferably in luxury watches and jewellery
Ability to develop long-term and sustainable client relationships and business
Ability to represent the brand, maintain relationships with the watch community, and host in-boutique events with support from marketing
Excellent communication skills
Available to work retail hours including weekends
Proven success in people management and developing diverse teams
Flexible mindset with the ability to embrace changes
Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
Proactive approach to analyzing business and human resource needs
Ability to motivate and develop the team
