As a pivotal member of our operations team, this role will focus on orchestrating the seamless preparation, packaging and shipment of goods for both domestic and international customers. Collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers will be crucial in managing packaging specifications, export documentation, compliance and customer delivery requirements.
Duties
* Coordinate Packaging Requirements: Track shipments of final products according to customer specifications.
* Proactive Shipment Monitoring: Regularly update the project delivery team on customer shipment progress through production schedules to meet required delivery deadlines.
* Layout Execution: Coordinate vehicle and container layouts along with packaging requirements and communicate to internal stakeholders.
* Documentation Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation for successful export/import and clearance of goods at destination.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with dispatch teams and internal stakeholders to support meeting customers' needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years experience in logistics, supply chain or shipping.
* Industry experience in a similar position is essential.
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
* SAP B1 experience is advantageous.
* Demonstrated time management and organisational skills are necessary.
